If you’ve been on the fence, the area we serve, from Chambers, Lee and Russell counties in Alabama to Troup, Harris, Muscogee and Coweta in Georgia, looks different than it did even two years ago.
- Valley and Lanett are filling in. The Village Square expansion brought Marshalls, Five Below and more to Highway 29, and a new Chick-fil-A, Beef ‘O’ Brady’s and Scooter’s Coffee are part of the momentum. New subdivisions are giving buyers real choices.
- Auburn and Opelika keep adding to daily life. New hotels, new restaurants and an expanding technology park mean more reasons to stay close to home.
- LaGrange is drawing major employers. Lee Kum Kee is building a plant expected to bring up to 267 jobs, and Google has confirmed a data center there.
- Columbus has more to do. Dave & Buster’s, Jim ‘N Nick’s and Raising Cane’s opened along Whittlesey Boulevard.
- Newnan is building for newcomers. New apartment and townhome communities are going up along the I-85 corridor.
Growth like this changes the math. It means more jobs, more amenities and neighborhoods with a future. It’s often the nudge people need to stop wondering and start planning.
